The Group has six scientific members and two researchers.

-      Investigation on the fruit loss and identification the main factors.

-      Study of common and cold storage optimization methods.

-      Study of pre/post-harvest quality reduction methods of citrus and subtropical fruits.

-      Determination and updating of fruit quality indices of new and existing commercial varieties.

-      Study of new methods for harvesting and storing fruits.

-      Identification and quantification methods for extracting secondary metabolites.

-      Qualitative and quantitative evaluation for extraction of citrus and subtropical fruits essential oils.

-      Consultation on harvesting and transport of fruit.

-      Study of sorting and packaging methods of fruits.

-      Study of processing and by-products production methods.

-      Study of post-harvest pest and diseases managements.

-      Internal marketing study and knowledge of export markets and consumer’s behavior.

-      Study of the processing industries and Its development

-      Cooperation on manual and standards wrighting for fruits production consumption and processing.

-      Consultation services for preservation of cold and common storage.
